Dara Procell is a Staff Software Engineer at SciTec, Inc. since July 2022, previously serving as an Associate Software Engineer. Dara gained experience as a SULI Computer Science and Technologies Intern at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where a wind plant visualization tool was developed using Julia. Additionally, research endeavors included serving as a Student Research Assistant at the National Snow and Ice Data Center, focusing on glacial land ice measurements in Python, and contributing to the SNOWIE project as a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in data visualization. Dara Procell is pursuing a Master of Science in Weather and Climate Risk Analytics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, following a Bachelor of Arts in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder. Educational background also includes attendance at Albuquerque Academy.
