Paula Plaza has a diverse work experience. Paula is currently employed as a Medical Assistant at the Schweiger Dermatology Group since October 2022. Before that, they worked as a Medical Assistant at Premier Pain Care & Wellness from January 2022 to September 2022. Paula also had a role as a Medical Intern at Centro Audiologica Clinica Medica from July 2021 to September 2021, where they shadowed the head doctor and their technicians, conducted tests, analyzed results, and researched diagnoses and treatments.

In addition to their medical roles, Paula worked as a Freelance Spanish-English Translator since January 2016 and as a Private Tutor from September 2015 to November 2020. Paula also gained experience as a Honors Program Student Office Assistant at the University of Connecticut from September 2019 to May 2020 and as a Digital Media Marketing and Branding Intern at the same university from May 2019 to July 2019. Finally, they served as a Youth Leader at Trinity Church in Greenwich, CT from January 2018 to March 2020.

Paula Plaza completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut-Stamford from 2016 to 2020. Paula then pursued a Master's degree in Dermatological Sciences & Skin Biology at the University of Miami from 2023 to 2024. Additionally, Paula Plaza obtained several certifications, including being a Dermatology Technician from Schweiger Dermatology Group in April 2023, a NHA-Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NHA-CPT) from Northeast Medical Institute LLC in May 2021, and The Mountain v.1.0 certification from Talkwalker in October 2019.
