Nava Greenfield has extensive work experience in the field of dermatology. In 2011, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Childrens Hospital Oakland Research Institute. Nava then went on to complete a Dermatology Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2014. Following this, they joined Schweiger Dermatology Group in 2016 as a Dermatologist and Regional Medical Director. In 2018, Nava became a Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Health System.

Nava Greenfield completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry from The City University of New York in 2007. Following this, they attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine. Finally, in 2012 to 2013, Nava Greenfield pursued an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Yale University School of Medicine.
