Jieun Lee, PhD, DABT has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of scientific and regulatory affairs. Jieun has held various leadership positions in reputable companies. Jieun started their career as a Toxicologist at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP in 2002. From 2006 to 2007, Jieun worked as a Senior Toxicologist at ExxonMobil. In 2007, they joined Colgate-Palmolive as a Technical Associate and Category Team Leader for Oral Care Product Safety. Jieun then moved to Kellogg Company in 2011, where they first served as a Principal Toxicology Scientist until 2016 and later became the Director of Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs until 2019. Following their tenure at Kellogg, Jieun joined CJ Foods in 2019 as the VP of Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs and Specification Management at Schwan's Company since 2023. Jieun Lee, PhD, DABT, completed their education in a chronological order. Jieun obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science & Technology from Seoul National University from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Food Science & Technology from the same university from 1992 to 1994. Subsequently, Jieun attended Cornell University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Environmental Toxicology. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification in Managing Stress for Positive Change from LinkedIn in 2019. Furthermore, they recently received the Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) certification from the American Board of Toxicology, Inc. in December 2021.
