Heidi Saunders has extensive work experience in the food industry, primarily in quality and food safety roles. Heidi is currently the Vice President of Global Quality and Food Safety at Schwan's Company. Before that, they served as the Chief Quality Officer at C.H. Guenther & Son. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of NA Quality at Mondelēz International. Heidi also has a background in plant management, having worked as a Plant Director at Kellogg Company. Heidi has held various senior management positions at Kellogg, including Senior Director of Snacks Quality & Food Safety and Senior Director of Global Food Safety and Auditing. Before joining Kellogg, they worked at United Biscuits as a Senior Technical Advisor and at Allied Bakeries as a Technical Manager. Overall, Heidi has a wealth of experience in quality assurance and food safety within the food industry, with a career spanning over two decades.
Heidi Saunders attended Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls from 1987 to 1994. Heidi then went on to study at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Food Science and Technology. In 2021, Heidi obtained a certification in the Mondelēz: Grow Program from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning.
