Kathryn Peterson, Ed.D, currently serves as a Program Officer at the Schultz Family Foundation, focusing on youth transitioning from foster care and the justice system. Previously, Kathryn held the position of Director for Covid Recovery at Highline Public Schools, providing strategic leadership in recovery efforts aligned with equity policies. Prior experience includes various roles at YouthCare Seattle, ranging from Director of Strategic Program Partnership Integration to Program Manager for the YouthBuild initiative. Additional notable positions include consulting for Northwest Youth Services, serving as Youth Program Director at the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry, and teaching at both Boston Renaissance Charter Public School and 4J School District. Kathryn possesses advanced degrees from the University of Washington, Boston University, and Bushnell University, with a strong foundation in education and leadership.
