Fangliang Chen, Ph.D, PE is a Senior Structural Engineer at Schüco USA LLLP. Previously, Fangliang worked as an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York, focusing on various projects such as building-integrated photovoltaic-thermal roofing panel and nanocomposite strain sensor for smart monitoring for infrastructural integrity. Prior to that, Fangliang was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at Washington State University, where research included stability and fracture analysis of layered composite structures and multiscale characterization of long-term durability of sustainable concrete. Fangliang holds a Ph.D in Structural Engineering from Washington State University.
