Alexander Schlick has a diverse work experience. Alexander started their career as a Regional Financial Controller at Procter & Gamble in 2005 and held this role until 2007. Alexander then joined Schrottwolf in 2008 as a Geschäftsführer, staying with the company until 2019. In 2016, they co-founded Schrott24 and served as CEO, and later became the sole CEO in 2017. In 2022, they moved on to become the CEO and Co-Founder of Metaloop.

Alexander Schlick has a Master's degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from HKUST MBA. Alexander also holds another Master's degree in betriebswirtschaft from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
