Ranjana Bhat has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Ranjana started their career at IBM as a System Analyst, where they were involved in the development and testing phases of various projects. Ranjana then worked as an IT Developer at HBOS and Aviva Investors (formerly Morley Fund Management). In 2006, they joined Alphacourt Ltd as an Integration Consultant, responsible for integrating systems. Ranjana also worked as a Systems Integrator at TNT Express. In 2010, they became a Middleware Consultant at Lloyds Banking Group, where they were involved in all phases of project development and had hands-on experience in resolving issues. Ranjana also briefly worked as a Developer and Support Analyst at Capgemini. In 2013, they worked as an Integration Designer at Home Retail Group PLC, providing expertise in writing application integration design documents. Ranjana then joined Schroders as a Principal Platform Engineer and later became a Middleware Consultant. In 2017, they briefly worked as an IBM Messaging Engineer at Credit Suisse.

Ranjana Bhat attended Cluny Convent for an unspecified period of time. Ranjana later went on to study Information Science and Engineering with a focus on Computer Software at Visvesvaraya Technological University.
