Stella Gustafsson is the President and Founder of Spa Academia, leading a significant operational reorganization and international expansion efforts since January 2000. Concurrently, Stella has been engaged in various translation and editing roles with Schreiber Translations, Inc. and Eriksen Translations Inc. since 2017, specializing in business, legal, and wellness documents between English, Icelandic, and Danish. Stella has a strong background in spa operations management, having served as the Executive Director of Spa Operations at WTS International and Resorts World Catskills, overseeing the landmark Crystal Life Spa. Previous spa director roles include significant positions at Norwich Spa at Foxwoods, Elemis Spa at Mohegan Sun, Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa, and The Spa at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. Stella holds an MBA in International Business and Hospitality Administration from Johnson & Wales University.
