Angie Hankins has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the legal field. Angie is currently serving as the Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer at SCHOTT since 2022. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2021, they worked at Samsung Electronics as the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for Samsung Strategy & Innovation Center and Samsung Catalyst Fund, where they provided legal advice, compliance, and corporate governance advice.

Before their role at Samsung, Angie Hankins held the position of Intellectual Property Partner at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP from 2001 to 2014. In this role, they were responsible for patent litigation and related legal proceedings. Angie also worked as an Associate at Kenyon & Kenyon from 1998 to 2001, where they prepared patent applications, conducted due diligence, and handled various legal documents in fields such as technology and software.

Angie Hankins began their career as a Summer Associate at Jenkins & Gilchrist in 1996 and completed legal internships at USAF Judge Advocate General and Bell Communications Research. Angie also worked as an Engineering Administrative Assistant at PageAmerica of New York, Inc. and served in the United States Air Force as a Communications Computer System Control Technician.

Throughout their career, Angie Hankins has demonstrated expertise in legal research, drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, and managing legal teams.

Angie Hankins obtained a Juris Doctorate degree in Law from the University of Virginia School of Law between 1995 and 1998. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering, earning a BE degree from Stevens Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they hold the certifications of a Registered Patent Attorney from the USPTO, obtained in 2000, and a Registered Attorney from both the New York State Supreme Court, obtained in 1999, and the Supreme Court of New Jersey, obtained in 1998.
