Cristian Zambrano

Product Development Scientist at SCHOTT MINIFAB

Cristian Zambrano is a Product Development Scientist at SCHOTT MINIFAB since July 2023, following a tenure as Scientist II at SomaLogic from February to December 2022. Zambrano has extensive experience in research, including serving as a Research Associate at the University of Colorado Boulder from June 2018 to February 2022, where projects focused on the effects of Mycobacterium strains on stress models and the development of various cellular assays. Previous positions at the University of Colorado included managing animal husbandry, designing experimental approaches for NIH grants, and conducting research on nicotinic receptors, resulting in numerous peer-reviewed publications. An early career as a Research Assistant at Universidad de Chile involved studying Alzheimer’s disease mechanisms linked to oxidative stress. Cristian Zambrano holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Universidad de Chile and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Universidad Austral de Chile.
