Caleb Hicks has a diverse work experience in the education and technology sectors. Caleb is currently the Founder and CEO of SchoolAI, where they oversee the development of AI-powered tools for schools. These tools aim to streamline data management, operations, communications, and workflow automation, ultimately helping educators and school leaders save time and money.
Prior to SchoolAI, Caleb worked at Lambda School, where they held multiple roles. As the Cofounder and President of Lambda School, they played a significant role in building and running the career and technical program. This program offers free education until students secure jobs making over $50k per year and has successfully placed thousands of students in tech careers. Caleb's responsibilities included admissions, student onboarding, learning experience design and delivery, student services and community, and career services. Caleb also managed partnerships for Lambda School.
Caleb also founded Factor, a not-for-profit organization that helps high school students explore potential careers through connections with professionals and companies. Over 200 students have participated in Factor's programming, which includes projects, onsite visits, and mentorship opportunities.
Earlier in their career, Caleb worked at Apple as a Senior Manager of Instructional Design, where they led the development of the Everyone Can Code program for K-12, higher education, enterprise training, and Apple retail. Caleb managed a team of curriculum developers and instructional designers and also developed marketing and sales support strategies.
Before Apple, Caleb held positions at DevMountain, Capella Education as an iOS Program Director, Lead Instructor, and Curriculum Director, and at Alpine School District as a Teacher of Career and Technical Education.

Caleb Hicks began their education in 2004 at Brigham Young University, where they pursued a General Studies program. Caleb attended this institution until 2005. Later, in 2008, Caleb enrolled in Weber State University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Marketing Education. Caleb completed their studies at Weber State University in 2010.
