Kathryn (Kate) Knapp is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Teacher at Earl Marriott Secondary since September 2017 and has been a Teacher Teaching On Call (TTOC) for Surrey Schools and School District 42 since February 2016 and June 2015, respectively. In addition to teaching, Kate is the Orienteering Adventure Kids Program Coordinator for the Orienteering Association of British Columbia, focusing on youth engagement in orienteering. Previously, Kate worked as an Independent Contractor for Orienteering Canada, where contributions were made to the development of junior programs nationwide. Early career experience includes retail positions at Sport Chek, Indigo, and Queen's Cross Cold Beer & Wine Emporium, alongside security work at Queen's University. Kate holds a Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queen's University, with a focus on History and English Literature.
