Benoit Capiod is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Schonfeld Strategic Advisors (UK) LLP since May 2021. Previously, Benoit held the position of Senior Investment Manager at Pictet Asset Management from June 2011 to April 2021, where co-management of the Agora Fund led to an increase from an initial $100 million to $2.5 billion. Benoit worked as a Hedge Fund Analyst at Lansdowne Partners from October 2005 to May 2011, contributing to the management of $3.5 billion in global equities utilizing both long-short and long-only strategies. Earlier career experience includes an Associate role in the Investment Banking Financial Institutions Group at Merrill Lynch from July 2002 to September 2005. Benoit holds a Master of Science in Finance from EDHEC Business School and participated in an exchange program in Mandarin at Fudan University.
