SOME NATH KUNDU is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in the power sector. Currently serving as Senior Cybersecurity Officer for Greater India at Schneider Electric since March 2024, and previously held the role of Deputy General Manager & Alternate CISO at NTPC Limited from September 2004 to March 2024. In this capacity, SOME NATH KUNDU collaborated with various organizations, including the Ministry of Power and CERT-IN, to develop cybersecurity guidelines and training programs while ensuring compliance with national regulations. Earlier positions included engineering roles at M. N. Dastur & Co. (P) Ltd. and considerable experience in the engineering of thermal power plants, particularly in control and instrumentation. SOME NATH KUNDU holds a Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation and Control and a Bachelor of Science in Physics Honours, both from the University of Calcutta.
