Marko Šakotić started their work experience in 2021 as a Software Developer at DDOR osiguranje. Marko then moved on to Vega IT in 2021 as a Software Developer as well. In 2022, they worked at VICERT, where they held the position of Junior Software Developer. Currently, Marko is a Software Engineer I at Schneider Electric Hub, starting from March 2023.

Marko Šakotić obtained their Bachelor with Honours in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. Marko specialized in Computer Software Engineering during their undergraduate studies. Marko then pursued further education and is currently enrolled in the Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering program at the same university, anticipated to graduate in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Marko has also acquired several certifications. Marko obtained the Professional Scrum Masterâ„¢ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in August 2022. Marko also holds the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in July 2022. Furthermore, Marko received certification in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from ProTrainings in May 2022.
