Alan Gubbay is an experienced HV Electrician with a robust background in heavy earthmoving and mining equipment maintenance. Currently employed at Schlam since March 2023, Alan specializes in high voltage electrical work and up-skilling as an Auto Electrician, particularly focusing on various electric drive systems for mining equipment in Western Australia. Previously, Alan worked with Komatsu Australia for nearly five years, providing both high voltage electrician support and site-based machine support for major mining clients, including BHP and Rio Tinto. With a total of 18 years of experience as an electrician, Alan has developed expertise in problem-solving, root cause fault analysis, and autonomous machinery retrofits, having held various roles that spanned electrical contracting, site support, and supervisory positions across several organizations. Alan's educational background includes qualifications from TAFE NSW in Electrotechnology Systems and Telecommunications.
