Franz-Xaver Simmen has extensive work experience in various leadership roles and industries. Franz-Xaver is currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain Management at Schindler Group. Prior to this, they held positions such as Board Member at Soblue AG and CEO at AS Aufzüge. Franz-Xaver also served as the CEO of Andermatt Swiss Alps and held significant roles at Schindler Aufzüge AG and AS Aufzüge AG. Their earlier experience includes positions at Purbond AG, Collano Adhesives AG, and the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (Queensland). Throughout their career, Simmen has demonstrated expertise in areas such as management, sales, marketing, and project coordination.

Franz-Xaver Simmen pursued their education in a methodical manner, focusing on achieving a strong academic foundation. Franz-Xaver began their educational journey in 1997, enrolling at Berner Fachhochschule BFH, where they pursued a degree in Construction Engineering. This program spanned four years, concluding in 2001.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, Franz-Xaver Simmen later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Executive MBA Universität St. Gallen from 2009 to 2010. Their studies in this program were focused on Strategy, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of this field.
