Alex McGee currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Sequoia Heritage since August 2022, previously holding the position of Secondee Lawyer at Sidley Austin LLP for a brief period. Prior to this, McGee worked as Counsel in Investments Legal at Liberty Mutual Insurance and as an Associate in Private Investment Funds at Sidley Austin LLP. Earlier experience includes an Associate role in Business Restructuring at Ropes & Gray LLP and a Term Law Clerk position at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Legal internships were completed at GET Group and AIDS Action Committee, with earlier professional experience as an Associate at ICF International and a Consultant at BAE Systems. McGee earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston College Law School and a BA in Political Science from the University of San Diego.
