Karin Steinmetzer is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as Head of Marketing at Scheugenpflug Global since November 2021. Previously, Karin held the position of Senior Marketing Communications Manager at ams OSRAM from April to November 2021 and served as Senior Communications Manager at OSRAM from February 2018 to March 2021. Karin's career also includes a role as Global Head of Marketing and Communications at E. ZOLLER GmbH + Co. KG from February 2011 to January 2018, and as Senior Conceptionalist & Project Lead at fast-emotion, focusing on multimedia communication from April 2007 to January 2011. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Manager for Destination Management Georgia (Caucasus) at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH from May 2002 to April 2006. Karin holds a Doctorate in Natural Sciences from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg and has completed education at Universität des Saarlandes.
