Ekta Desai AIA is a Partner and Design Lead at SchenkelShultz Architecture, where involvement includes leading design for significant projects such as the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation and the University of Florida Public Safety Headquarters. Prior to this role, Ekta served as an Associate Principal at TEN Arquitectos and Senior Project Designer for notable works including the Taxi and Limousine Commission Facility in New York City. Other experience includes design work at Margulies Hoelzli Architecture and Gresham, Smith and Partners, as well as a position as Graduate Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, where contributions resulted in published works. Ekta holds a Master’s in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida, and is recognized as a Summa Cum Laude graduate and AIA Henry Adams Gold Medal recipient.
