Amanda Landy

Health Education Teacher at Schenectady City School District

Amanda Landy is an experienced health education professional with a diverse background in education and program coordination. Currently serving as a Health Education Teacher at Schenectady City School District since August 2022, Amanda has also held significant roles in Troy City Schools as the Director of the 21st Century Program since August 2016 and as Program Director for the 21st Century Community Learning Center from October 2011 to September 2016. Previous experience includes coordinating anti-tobacco initiatives across Albany, Schenectady, and Rensselaer counties through Capital Region BOCES and assisting schools in implementing tobacco-free policies. Amanda earned a Master of Science in Health Teacher Education from The Sage Colleges and a Bachelor of Science in Health Teacher Education from the State University of New York Cortland, along with a Credentialed Prevention Partner certification from Schenectady County Community College.
