Juergen Kapell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in industrial engineering and production management. Most recently, Juergen served as Vice President of Industrial Engineering at Schaeffler from January 2012 until retirement in July 2023, where responsibilities included the continuous improvement of production systems and the global rollout of new methodologies. Prior roles at Schaeffler included Plant Manager and Launch Manager, focusing on production output and the development of new processes for e-mobility products. Juergen's prior experience includes Engineering Manager at Rheinmetall Automotive AG, overseeing multiple engineering departments, and Production Technology Manager at The Timken Company, where advanced metal forming processes were developed for global manufacturing. Juergen holds an MBA in International Business from Georgia State University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Aachen, Germany.
