Eirene Garnsey currently serves as Deputy General Counsel, Governance & Secretariat at Scentre Group, commencing in July 2014, with previous roles including General Manager, Compliance & Secretariat, and Senior Legal Counsel at the same organization. Prior to Scentre Group, Eirene worked as a Corporate Solicitor at Westfield from May 2010 to July 2014, and held the position of Senior Associate at Clayton Utz from August 2004 to April 2010. Early career experience includes serving as Tipstaff/Legal Researcher in the Chambers of Justice R.P. Austin at the Supreme Court of NSW from May 2003 to May 2004. Eirene holds a Master of Laws (LLM) and a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA/LLB) from the University of Sydney and has attained Fellow status at the Governance Institute of Australia.
