Elena Lécué has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Elena began their career as an Assistant to the Global CMO at Danone in 2005 and later worked as a Product Manager at L'Oréal in 2006. Elena then returned to Danone and held positions such as Assistant Brand Manager and later as a Director, Sales Strategy and Planning at Danone North America.
In 2009, Elena joined Danone North America as an Associate Brand Manager, and subsequently held roles as a Brand Manager, Digital Marketing and Media Manager, Senior Brand Manager, and Marketing Director. Elena also served as the EVP Sales & Marketing at Gaia Herbs from 2017 to 2019.
Elena's next significant role was at Dropps in 2020, where they served as the CMO, focusing on revenue growth and brand building for the direct-to-consumer company. Elena oversaw brand, growth/revenue, and tech verticals in partnership with The Craftory VC.
Currently, Elena Lécué is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Scentbird since 2023.
Elena Lécué completed their Bachelor's degree in International Commerce at Moscow State University of Foreign Relations from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master's in Management (MBA) at HEC Paris from 2004 to 2006.
