David F. Gundersen is a Partner Dentist at First Choice Dental since July 2011, providing comprehensive dental care to approximately 2,500 patients annually while managing auxiliary staff and enhancing community outreach. Additionally, David serves as a Dentist at Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers since February 2020, offering preventive and diagnostic services to patients in a Federally Qualified Health Center. As the Founder and President of Blacktooth LLC since May 2018, David provides consulting services focused on dental health practices. Previously, David held various leadership roles at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, including Media and Policy Director for the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program and Director of the Wisconsin School Health Programs. David's early career included positions with the Wisconsin Tobacco Control Board and as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Steve Gunderson. David holds a DDS from Marquette University School of Dentistry, a Master of Public Health from Emory University, a Teaching Credential from California State University-Dominguez Hills, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology-Biology from Yale University.
