Jiqing (Jay) Wang has extensive work experience starting at EXFO in 1997 as a Senior Product Manager and Sales Technical Manager. Jiqing (Jay) worked at Yokogawa as a Sales Manager and Product Manager from 2000-2006 and then moved on to Princeton Lightwave Inc. as a Global Sales Manager until 2008. Jiqing (Jay) also worked at Axsun Technologies between 2008 and 2011 as a Senior Product Marketing Manager. Jiqing (Jay) joined New Ridge Technologies in 2011 until 2015 as a Director of Sales and Business Development. Jiqing (Jay) then worked at AFL as a Product Line Manager for a year before joining SCD.USA Infrared, LLC as the Director of Business Development from 2016 to the present.

Jiqing (Jay) Wang started their education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology between 1982 and 1986. After a gap in their education, they pursued a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from Université de Haute-Alsace à Mulhouse, France between 1990 and 1992. Jiqing (Jay) later pursued a Ph.D. Program in Ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) Surface Chemistry from Université Laval from 1992 until 1997. There is no information on when they attended Shanghai University and if they obtained a degree from there.
