Mikhail Smolovik has over 10 years of work experience. Mikhail began their career in 2011 as a Junior Network Design Engineer at "Business Engineering and Consulting" Closed Joint Stock Company. In 2012, they joined ITMO University as a Research Fellow and Research Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Electronics Engineer at Scantinel Photonics.

Mikhail Smolovik obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from ITMO University in 2016, specializing in Optical measurement devices and techniques. Mikhail also obtained a Diplom of Higher Education (Specialist degree) from ITMO University in 2012, specializing in Laser and Optical Engineering. Additionally, they obtained the Agile Foundations certification from LinkedIn in February 2021.
