Nancy Ummels has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nancy started their career in 1992 as a Manager at Rabobank Valkenswaard & Waalre, where they were responsible for managing a team of 30 employees across multiple departments. Nancy then worked as a Human Resource Manager at Duotank International Group B.V., where they focused on strategic HR management and was a member of the management team. After that, they became the owner of Effect Management B.V., where they provided strategic business planning and HR management solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.
Nancy then took on the role of Manager P&O at Leolux Living, where they were responsible for the overall personnel policy and led the HR department. Nancy also worked as a Strategisch HR Partner and Interim HR Manager at Effect HR, supporting companies on various HR issues.
In 2013, Nancy joined Scandinavian Tobacco Group, initially as a Senior Manager Human Resources and later as a Director and Vice President, Strategic HR Business Partner & Head of HR Global Operations. In these roles, they played a key role in partnering with business leaders and developing HR strategies to support the company's global operations and its 9,000 employees. Nancy also served on the non-executive board of Mega-Inliner®, where they focused on HR and organizational development.
Throughout their career, Nancy has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, business partnering, and leadership development. Nancy has experience in various industries, including finance, manufacturing, and tobacco.
Nancy Ummels attended Radboud University from 2016 to 2017, where they pursued a Post Master Psychology of Organizational Change. Prior to that, they completed a Post HBO in Strategic Human Resource Management from Strategic HRM from 2005 to 2007. Nancy also obtained a Bachelor's degree in HR Management through the HBO-leergang Personeelsmanagement ISBW Opleiding en Training from 2002 to 2004. Furthermore, Nancy Ummels completed a Bachelor's degree in Management voor Middenkader from ISBW Opleiding en Training from 1994 to 1997.
