Zhiru Li has extensive experience in the actuarial field, having worked in various positions throughout their career. They started as a Consultant at United Healthcare from October 2005 to May 2011. They then moved to Blue Shield of California, where they served as an Associate Actuary from May 2011 to October 2012. Afterwards, they joined CareMore Health Plan as their Chief Actuary from October 2012 to December 2019. Following that, they worked as the AVP of Actuarial Services at Molina Healthcare from December 2019 to February 2021. Currently, Zhiru Li holds the position of VP of Actuarial Services at SCAN Health Plan from February 2021.

Zhiru Li earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tsinghua University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Zhiru then pursued a Master's degree in Statistics from The Ohio State University, completing it from 1998 to 2002.
