Vinay K. began their work experience in 1994 as an Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Limited. Vinay then worked as a Consultant at GE Capital and First Data Corporation in 1996 and 1997 respectively. Vinay joined Anthem, Inc. in 1998 and held various roles, including Consultant, Technology Lead, and Sr Manager of Information Technology. In 2013, they became the Staff Vice President of Digital Technology at Anthem, Inc. Vinay then joined CareMore Health Plan in 2017 as the Chief Information Officer. In 2020, they moved to Geniq Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Engineering. Currently, Vinay K. is working as the Vice President of Clinical Technologies at SCAN.

Vinay K. completed a BS in Engineering at Karnatak University from 1990 to 1994. Then, from 2004 to 2006, Vinay pursued an MBA in Ebusiness. Most recently, in 2018 and 2019, Vinay studied Healthcare Innovation at the University of Pennsylvania.
