Adam Pauls is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence and computer science. Currently serving as a Researcher at Scaled Cognition since February 2023, Adam previously held various positions at Microsoft, including Principal Researcher and Senior Researcher from June 2018 to February 2023. Prior to that, Adam worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Semantic Machines from January 2015 to May 2018 and as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Google from December 2012 to January 2015. Early career experience includes internships at Google and the Information Sciences Institute in 2010 and 2009, respectively. Adam holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley (2006-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Physics from The University of British Columbia (2000-2005).
