Alex Seybold is an engineer currently working at Scalar Consulting Group Inc. since October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an undergraduate research assistant at Michigan State University from August 2019 to October 2022, where Alex studied the effects of drainage type on nutrient loss from fertilized farmland and gained experience in quality assurance of field instrumentation and data. Additionally, Alex worked as a startup engineer at E. & J. Gallo Winery from January to June 2021, focusing on a new boxed wine production line and implementing Lean Six Sigma projects. Earlier experience includes roles as a teacher assistant in summer science camps at Kalamazoo Public Schools and as a scientific researcher at Western Michigan University, where Alex developed a new procedure for creating nanojars. Alex holds a degree in Biosystems Engineering with a focus on Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Michigan State University, completed in 2022.
