Tom Bocklisch is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Principal Architect and acting VP of Engineering at Rasa since March 2017, Tom heads a remote-first development team of 50, overseeing the architecture, design, and delivery of software products in conversational AI. As a co-founder of scalable minds, Tom empowers startups and projects through innovative software engineering solutions. Previously, Tom held a role as a Data Science Engineer and Architect at Cake Solutions Limited, specializing in distributed systems using functional programming. Tom holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in IT-Systems-Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute, achieved between 2010 and 2016.
