Florian Benz's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Florian started their career as a Software Developer at e-Juniors.net in 2006 and then worked as a Tutor at Saarland University in 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they served as a Software Developer at miaplaza, where they implemented new features in different areas. In 2011, Florian had internships at both SAP and Google, where they gained valuable experience in software engineering. At Google, they worked on the Closure Stylesheets project. In 2013, they joined Mercateo as a Software Engineer, focusing on shop and catalog-based features of their e-procurement system. Florian then moved to Scalable Capital, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming a VP of Engineering. In their various roles at Scalable Capital, they led backend engineers, managed engineering teams, and ensured technical scalability. Throughout their career, Florian has played a significant role in the growth and development of companies in the digital wealth management and e-procurement sectors.
Florian Benz completed their education in a chronological order. From 1998 to 2007, they attended St. Matthias-Gymnasium in Gerolstein and obtained their high school diploma. During this time, they focused on majors such as mathematics, physics, and geography.
Following their high school education, Florian attended Saarland University from 2008 to 2011. Here, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Physics.
Continuing their academic journey, Florian enrolled at Saarland University once again from 2011 to 2013 to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science.
