Christian Mayer is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a rates trader at J.P. Morgan since December 2020, with a focus on Euro rates trading. Concurrently, Mayer has held roles in investment management, serving on the Investment Management Team at Scalable Capital and as an investment analyst at ZZ Vermögensberatung (Schweiz) AG, where responsibilities included global macro research of high yield emerging markets and trade idea generation. Additionally, Mayer has managed a cross-asset macro trading book at MCI Investments, engaging in research and backtesting strategies, and contributed to credit research during a summer analyst position at IlliquidX. Previous experiences also include an analyst role at J.P. Morgan, working on fixed income, and an internship at Goldenberg Hehmeyer LLP focusing on global macro research and risk management tools. Christian Mayer holds a BSc in Economics and Business from WU Vienna and has participated in exchange programs at the University of Warwick and the University of St. Petersburg.
