Shiran Barber-Zucker is currently serving as the Head of Protein Design at Scala Biodesign since July 2022. Prior to this role, Shiran worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Weizmann Institute of Science from October 2019 to July 2022. Shiran also has experience as a Protein Design Consultant at Edity Therapeutics and as a Teaching Assistant at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. With a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Biology, a Master of Science (MSc) in Structural Biology, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Shiran has a strong educational background to support their professional roles in various laboratories and research projects.
