Rob Rao has been in the tech industry for over 20 years. In 2000, they began their career at Intel Corporation as a Technical Marketing Engineer, providing presales technical support to Intel's sales force and clients regarding their Ebusiness strategy and deployment of Intel Netstructure products. Rob then moved to TrueClose in 2002 as Sales Manager, where they designed and managed development of a mortgage brokerage software application and it's associated business model. In 2004, they became Sales Director at Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation, responsible for product management and sales of a RID (Radiation Detection Identification Unit). From 2008 to 2013, they were Sales Manager at METALfx, responsible for product management and sales of engineering and sheet metal design services. In 2013, they became Regional Sales Manager at Advanced Fabrication Technologies, responsible for all aspects of management and sales as it relates to product design and sales implementation. In 2018, they were appointed Head of Sales at SyncFab, where they implemented sales and business development strategy in all aspects of Blockchain deployment within the manufacturing sector. In 2019, they became Senior Business Development Manager at Supermicro. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed Head of Sales at Corix Solutions.

Rob Rao attended Washington & Jefferson College where they earned a degree in Politcal Science.
