Jeff Mitchell is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in leading finance functions across multiple banking institutions. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at SBS Bank since September 2022, Jeff is responsible for delivering value to the bank’s customers and owners, and contributing to strategic development. Prior experience includes a successful tenure as CFO and Deputy CFO at AMP New Zealand, where Jeff led teams that were recognized as finalists in the 2022 CFO Summit. Earlier roles at ASB Bank involved financial leadership for various banking divisions, along with significant contributions to performance reporting and strategy execution. Additionally, Jeff has a background at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and EY, complemented by a strong educational foundation including Chartered Accountant certification and multiple degrees from Victoria University of Wellington.
