Rachael Knowles is an accomplished journalist and media professional currently serving as the Deputy Editor of SBS Examines at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia since January 2022. In addition to this role, Rachael hosts a podcast for HeartKids Limited and has contributed as a youth panelist for news.com.au from February 2022 to October 2022. Rachael's previous experience includes serving as Editor, Journalist, Acting Editor, and Deputy Editor at the National Indigenous Times from January 2019 to January 2022. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Media, English, and History from the University of Wollongong. Rachael's educational background also includes attendance at Nepean Creative & Performing Arts High and Gilgandra High School.
