Tom Chapman has extensive work experience in the legal field. Tom worked as a Lawyer at Hill Dickinson LLP from September 2002 to April 2006, where they handled various high-profile cases, including workplace accidents and breach of contract claims. After that, they joined Clyde & Co LLP as a Legal Director from April 2006 to October 2013, focusing on advising offshore construction contractors and underwriters in arbitration proceedings and coverage disputes. Currently, they are employed at SBM Offshore, where they have held the positions of Litigation Manager, Legal Director Europe, and Group Legal Director - Projects & Operations.

Tom Chapman attended Ripon Grammar School from 1988 to 1995. Tom then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with French Law at Nottingham Trent University from 1997 to 2000. In 1998 to 1999, they furthered their studies in French Law at the University of Montpellier. Later, they attended Nottingham Law School from 2000 to 2001, where they obtained their LPC degree, focusing on Law.
