Paula Loureiro is an experienced professional in the offshore engineering sector, currently serving as Fleet Support Engineering Manager at SBM Offshore since February 2019, after progressing through roles including Engineering Project Manager and Project Engineering. Prior to this, Paula worked at MODEC, Inc. as a Project Engineer, overseeing EPC operations on FPSOs and managing engineering modifications on-site. Previous roles at SBM Offshore included Lead Project Engineer and Deputy Engineering Interface Manager, where Paula coordinated a team and facilitated communication with yards. Other noteworthy positions include Interface and Structural Engineer at OSX, Pipeline Engineer at Bureau Veritas, and research work on vortex-induced vibrations at PRH-35. Paula holds a Master's degree in Offshore Structures from COPPEAD UFRJ and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
