Sayed Miah is a Senior Investment Analyst at the State Board of Administration of Florida since June 2023, where responsibilities include developing analytics tools for investment performance evaluation, creating interactive dashboards, and ensuring data quality in analytical tools. Prior to this role, Sayed worked at the Office of Economic and Demographic Research for over 13 years, first as an Economist and then as a Legislative Economic Analyst, focusing on revenue forecasting, database management, and impact analysis. An early career position as a Financial Services Management Trainee at Amscot Corporation preceded advanced studies. Sayed holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy Analysis and a Master's in Applied Economics from Florida State University, as well as a Bachelor of Social Science in Economics from the University of Dhaka.
