Alexandra Blanton is a Senior Investment Analyst at the State Board of Administration of Florida since November 2018, specializing in R programming language and related technologies. Prior to this role, Alexandra gained valuable experience as a Research Associate Intern at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, where data production and statistical analysis were key responsibilities. As a Graduate Researcher at the Center for Economic Forecasting and Analysis, tasks included literature review, data collection, and economic modeling. Additional experience includes roles as a Program Support Assistant at the Institute for Intergovernmental Research and various internships that contributed to expertise in economic research and campaign data analysis. Alexandra holds a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, both from Florida State University.
