Alexander Hawkinson's work experience includes a role as a Product Development Engineer at SawStop starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Senva, Inc. from 2019 to 2022 as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they designed various parts for product production and oversaw the launching of multiple new product lines. Alexander also built and operated 3D printers and a CNC machine for rapid prototyping. Before Senva, Inc., they worked at ATI Specialty Alloys and Components as a Mechanical Engineer (Intern) in 2018, where they discovered a new manufacturing method, designed a safety device, and optimized the cut process of material. Alexander also had an internship as a Design Engineer at Blount International, Inc. in 2017, where they collaborated on high-level engineering projects and designed components. Additionally, they worked as a Project Engineer (Intern) at McKinstry in 2016, where they completed project reports, assisted with labor tracking, and created a "One Line Schedule" template recognized by senior leadership for innovation.

Alexander Hawkinson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, where they studied from 2014 to 2019.
