Roshan Strong, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Roshan has held various roles in different companies, primarily in the education industry. Roshan has extensive experience in instructional design, digital content strategy, and content development for K-12 Science and Humanities programs.

At Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning), Dr. Strong served as the Director of Science Instructional Design and Digital Content. In this role, they led the Equity and Inclusion Editorial and Design Committee and developed guidelines and training to implement equitable pedagogies across all disciplines. Roshan also collaborated and managed the development of rich digital Science programs for K-12 students.

Prior to their role at Savvas Learning Co, Dr. Strong worked at Pearson as the Director of K-12 Humanities and Science Digital Content Strategy, Authoring, and Production. Roshan managed the development and maintenance of digital programs, ensuring they met customer requirements and deadlines. Roshan successfully delivered numerous courses and assets for Back-To-School adoption and open territory markets.

Before Pearson, Dr. Strong was a Manager of Content Alignments at Compass Learning. Roshan oversaw the development and maintenance of alignments between state standards and digital assets for K-12 core subjects. Additionally, they played a key role in the content migration of digital assets and worked with engineering to ensure effective content management.

Dr. Strong also had experience at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where they served as a Customization Manager. In this position, they trained and managed talent to produce customized content for nationwide customers, ranging from the state to the school-district level. Roshan was involved in the development of K-12 customized science and social studies programs, as well as custom assessment products.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Strong worked as a Senior Editor at Holt McDougal, where they acquired and managed talent and contributed to the creation of middle school science programs. Roshan also gained experience as an Editor at Holt, Rinehart and Winston, where they developed and managed program components for middle school science programs.

Dr. Strong's career began as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin. Roshan developed and implemented lessons, exams, and projects, as well as conducted laboratory classes and assessments for students. Roshan consistently achieved high scores for the classes they taught.

Throughout their career, Dr. Roshan Strong has demonstrated their expertise in instructional design, content development, and talent management. Their experience spans multiple roles and companies, all in the education sector.

Roshan Strong, Ph.D. has a diverse educational background in the field of Biology, with a focus on Marine Ecology. Roshan began their education journey at Hebron International School from 1984 to 1992, where they obtained their GCSEs and A-levels.

Roshan then attended the University of Tampa from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, with a concentration in Marine Science and a minor in Chemistry.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Roshan enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 2004. They successfully completed their Ph.D. in Biology, specializing in Marine Ecology.

In addition to their formal education, Roshan has also obtained several certifications. They have completed a course on "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" offered by LinkedIn in July 2022. Roshan also completed a course on "UX Foundations: Accessibility" through LinkedIn in December 2021.
