Rahul Chheda has extensive work experience in the software development field. Rahul started their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys in 2006 and worked there until 2009. Rahul then joined Ness Digital Engineering as a Team Lead from 2009 to 2013, and later served as a Programmer Analyst from 2013 to 2014.
In 2014, Rahul joined Pearson as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, where they played a key role in transitioning the old Pearson K-12 Reporting platform to a new and improved platform. This involved creating and managing reports based on data extracted from different learning management platforms. Rahul utilized CDC methodology and HVR Replication for real-time data capture.
Rahul continued their career at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) in 2019, initially as a Senior Software Engineer Project Lead. In this role, they led the development of the Access and Entitlements Identity Platform, focusing on authentication and authorization features using Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, and AWS services. Rahul also managed the transition of the reporting platform to a new architecture using Looker and AWS Redshift.
Currently, Rahul holds the position of Software Development Manager at Savvas Learning Co. Rahul dynamically manages two teams in the 'Reporting' domain. One team is responsible for building a data pipeline to collect data from various LMS systems, while the other team delivers reports for schools and district administrators. As the Domain Owner for the Reporting Domain, Rahul is involved in designing and architecting new reporting requirements.
Rahul Chheda completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, from 2002 to 2006.
