Alison Melendez has a diverse range of work experience. Alison began their career as a Website Technician at the Center for Latino Arts and Culture in 2015, where they worked until January 2019. During this time, they gained experience in website maintenance and technical support.

Alison Melendez enrolled in Rutgers University in 2015 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology and Informatics, with a minor in DCIM, in 2019. In 2022, they attended Flatiron School to study Computer Software Engineering, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
