Abby Sheehan, MSW, currently serves as a SAI Therapist at Savio House, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes an internship at Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi from August 2021 to August 2022 and an internship with the Tennessee Department of Children's Services from August 2020 to May 2021. Abby's foundational experience in mental health support began at Webb School of Knoxville, where roles included After Care Leader and After Care Counselor from January 2018 to January 2020. Additionally, Abby contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, focusing on suicidality and drug use among LGBT+ youth in the Appalachia region. Abby is currently pursuing degrees in Psychology/Women and Gender Studies and Counseling Psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, having previously earned a Master of Social Work - MSW in Social Work from the same institution.
